If somebody asked you where Paradise was, where would be the first place that popped up into your mind? The Caribbean? Thailand? Australia? I'm guessing it would be practically anywhere apart from the UK. But unfortunately as we live in the UK (or as i used to) we tend to overlook what we have on our very doorstep, maybe only a matter of hours drive away.......
Coastal AreasIf we asked you to think of the British coast, you'd probably think of buckets, spades and sandcastles, and unfortunately most of all, the rain. Seaside holidays in the UK tend to bring thoughts of sitting in a tent/caravan, with the sound of the traditional British downpour on the roof. Unfortunately, this is what too many people think of when asked about the British coast. The British coast however, is one that can simply take your breath away. The great orme at Llandudno, North Wales, the sand dunes at Formby point, Carmarthen Bay, the route to Holy Island, just to mention a few. And its not just the scenery, the rich wildlife also give British shores a beauty that is total unique, and there is truly nothing else like it.
Mountain RangesIts not only the coast that gives Britain that addictive beauty, it has some truly beautiful and stunning national parks. When i lived in the UK, the Peak District National Park was right on my doorstep, and i'd spend many a weekend walking and horse riding, as well as numerous other activities. But my favourite has got to be the gorgeous and truly breathtaking Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. It just has EVERYTHING. 823 miles of some of the most beautiful and unspoilt countryside in the British Isles.
So why spend hundreds of pounds on flights to other countries, where you get a crappy exchange rate, where its too hot, where all the drunken chavs that try to drag down this great nation go, when areas of such beauty are right on your doorstep?

Many Thanks for reading.
